A favourite with walkers, tourists and locals, The Kings Arms Hotel in Reeth is everybody’s idea of the typical English village hotel where the authentic bar atmosphere is in the capable hands of our friendly local clientele and set against the backdrop of our large log burning Inglenook fireplace. Here you can enjoy the content of our well stocked bar and join in the relaxed conviviality before perhaps lunch or evening dinner.

Renowned for our a la carte menus, the chefs use their imagination and expertise to create dishes that will appeal.  Select from home made pies, salads, curries and game in season in addition to other delicious options.  There is plenty on offer here to suit all tastes and, of course, given our location, we have the advantage of sourcing and utilising only fresh local produce.  Snacks are served during the lunchtime period and a full bar and diner a la carte menu is available daily between 12 noon and 2.30pm and again between 6.00pm and 9.30 pm. One of the many highlights of our menus is our succulent Sunday roast lunch and here, as with all occasions, advance booking is advised, just to be on the safe side!

Staying with us for a memorable break? Again your advance booking is extremely welcome and we have a number of en-suite rooms; all centrally heated with beverage making facilities and colour televisions.  These are suitable for single, double, twin and family occupancy and a number have spectacular view across the village green to Swaledale. An ideal base for your next relaxing break.

So far as practicalities are concerned, The Kings Arms Hotel is open throughout the year, guests’ well behave dogs are welcome here to enjoy a canine break, we accept major credit and debit cards in payment of accounts and everything is done to ensure your complete enjoyment.
